RATIONALE

The Bishops of Western Australia have approved the collection of school fees from parents as a necessary contribution to the costs of delivering a Catholic education. Parents of Saint Francis Xavier School are asked to make a commitment to support their child’s Catholic education financially by paying fees.

TUITION FEE DISCOUNTS FOR SPECIFIC HEALTH CARE CARD HOLDERS

A significant number of fee discounts have always been provided across the Catholic education System.  Feedback from schools, however, suggests there is a perception that the level of discounts provided and the level of financial detail parents must provide in order to access a discount, varies across the System.  As a System, we are always striving to do more in fulfilling our mission within the Church; hence, the Health Care Card (HCC) Tuition Fee Discount Scheme was introduced in 2005.
